The Intense 4th of July

So this 4th of July was probably the BEST one I have had in awhile. It started off with our usual basketball tourny in Inkom. There are never any other girls that play, so we end up playing the hardcore guys. This year we wanted to win though so we had my cousin Jordan and his friend Keagen play on our team. It was alot of fun, it definetely was rough and intense! In our last game it down poured rain so it was freakin sweet! Even though we looked like drowned rats. :) But we did take 1st place! As soon as we got done playing ball we headed to my grams and gramps for a delicious dutch oven dinner. As soon as we got eating we spent a few hours on the water slide. And of course that is always exciting. Then we had our firework show, which is always better then Idaho Falls. :) haha Not only do we launch our fireworks into the air, but we tried a new thing this year and throwing them in the canal is pretty intense! You just pray that it sinks or it's bad news...

I SUCK at this blogging thingy! Sad thing is I haven't been that busy either so I have no excuse. I work (for free, stupid internship), Ruby River shut down so I don't even work there on the weekends any more, my new favorite hobby is sleeping! :) So other then working I have been hanging out with my friends (it's sooo nice having them home from college), and I have been doing a lot with my family. This whole last weekend I spent every night with my cousins Cameron, Braidon, and Landry. We are all close in age so we have a freakin awesome time together. We do the most random things: playing cards all night, the drive in, slip and sliding at my grams (with all the cousins), and building a bike ramp. So here are a few picures for now. I have alot more to share, but I gotta go, Cameron is waiting for me at the water slide! :) haha

My Life The Past Week

This week consisted of:

My friends coming home (finally), road trips, funny letters to the hotel maids, bonfires, going to the movies, my volleyball team party, doors breaking on Alexa's car, awesome pre-graduation pictures, and the actually graduation. It was an amazing week what can I say :) haha

Bye Bye Birthmark

Ever since I was born I have had an ugly nasty birthmark on my right arm. I have always wanted to get it off but I do not handle pain well. I hate shots and stitches! But finally 19 years laterI grew some balls haha and I got it removed! I am going to have a scar that is for sure, but at least I don't have a nasty birthmark anymore. They had to do 2 layers of stitches because it was so deep. I have a total of 19 stitches, 4 on the inside 15 on the outside. But dont you worry I didn't feel any pain while he was doing it! Except now it kills. Thank goodness for pain meds! :D

Our Fishy

Today at school was probably one of the greatest days at school that you can have. At lunch me and my buds Allie and Kristen decided to buy our teacher fish. She hates fish with a passion! We are super nice girls. :) So anyways, there we were at Petco deciding if we should get crickets to hide in the corner of her office, or get 38 fish. It was a tough decision but we decided on the fish. Unfortunately the evil people who work there said we cannot put 38 fish in the bowl we bought. So then we thought we would just get 3 and name them after ourselves. Then we took it to school and our teacher was not excited, so now they are our fish but we just keep them at school. They go everywhere we go: in the class room, the lab, outside for a fire drill, you name it they are there by oursides!

Funny Times

Well Amy came home for the weekend a couple weeks ago and of course we HAD to hang out. Normally we get our spray paint out and go "tag" something. Yes, we are out of control. But it's what you do when your from a small town. Anyways, this time we decided to go with chalk! It's completely harmless. :) And can easily be washed away! We drew pictures and wrote tons of random things on the mall parking lot (late at night of course). Funny thing is, we don't get scared of getting caught! Which most normal people do get scared. But we're pretty much hard core!!!! haha

A Purse For Amy

I have been doing good lately! I got another purse done!! This one is for my good pal Amy, she bought me the worlds cutest zebra sunglasses so I made her a purse. :] I would have to say it turned out pretty darn cute.

Another Purse Done!

I FINALLY got another purse done!!! I have to say this one is my favorite so far [and wallet]. This purse is for my cousin Hannah. I wish I had more time in the world to make a different purse every week, I would love that. But to bad I am a busy girl.

My Busy Month Of March

My great grandma Coral Steffler (my mom's grandma) passed away on Friday the 13th. It was a very sad day, but she is in a better place now. Shelbi and I played the guitar, and Sherelle, Lindsey, Grace, Shannon, Hannah, and Lily played the violin at grandmas funeral. Not going to lie but I was scared out of my mind (I like to play when no one is around haha), but it turned out beautifully.

My other Great Grandma Emma Kusler (my dad's grandma) passed away just a few days after grandma Coral passed away. So we packed up our stuff and headed to Spokane. I met alot of family members I never knew before! It was alot of fun yet sad, but nice to get away for awhile

And to top off all the horrible news on Sunday our little dog Misty (the picture above) was outside getting her "morning fresh air" just doing what dogs do. We have had Misty for about 4 years and she is seriously our little girl. My parents spoil her rotten. Anyways, Misty was not being so smart and ran out into the road and unfortunately a car was right there and she got hit. Luckily the tires missed her and she just went rolling under the car a few times. Which is actually not good since she is only about 6 pounds. Misty whimpered out loud was in a lot of pain. I thought for sure our little Misty was going to die. Since it was Sunday it took us FOREVER to get a hold of a vet who was working, but finally found someone. Come to find out she was okay. She wasn't bleeding internally all she had was a broken tail and a broken pelvic bone. So the bad story turned out to be a good ending! Just thought I would let everyone know. haha :)

Way Back When...

I was going through all my old pictures from back in the day. And it is crazy how time flies! I remember thinking at that time how cool and big I was... haha and now I see I really wasn't. And to see my little cousins that tiny, wow they grew up so fast! I feel like their mom, because I get sad when I see how little they used to be! haha I just had to share some of my favorite pictures.

This weekend me and my lady cousins took a girls night out, it has been awhile since we have had one! We usually go to a movie but this time around we wanted to spice things up a little. Since Grace or Shelbi has never been bowling we thought it would be entertaining to give it a try! After a great game of bowling we went to my work [Ruby river] and got a bite to eat! Our girls night out are ALWAYS full of excitement. We tend to get a little out of control... :]
