Thanksgiving at the Christensen's

Apparently the best way to watch football is with your arm behind your head.

We spent the entire day at Grandma and Grandpa Christensen's. The food was delicious and like always it was a lot of fun being with the family. Todd and Brenden got a hair makeover by Lily and Kate (that was a few days before Thanksgiving, sadly Sherelle and David's family were in Boise over Thanksgiving. We sure missed them.) It was definitely hard not having Mom there with us. But I am so grateful to have my family, they make things easier.

My Husband the Model...

 Well, here are some more pictures... Todd was jealous I didn't take pictures of him in the leaves like I did with Harlee. So We had a mini photo shoot, he could be a model. haha Then of course I had to show some of my modeling skills as well. Then Joey, Mikayla and Ava decided to come out and play to. So of course we snapped a few cute pictures of them. Like usual here is another photo overload... :)

Harlee Loves Fall

 So I may be a little crazy about always taking pictures of Harlee. But I honestly can't resist, she is freakin' adorable. Today while Todd was working, I was a little bored and decided to go play with Harlee outside. Well I start kicking and throwing the leaves and she was going crazy! So of course I had to take pictures to show how much fun she had. :) It was a bit tricky trying to throw leaves then hurry and snap a picture, but we made it work. So be ready for a photo overload...

Dad's 50th Birthday Party

Dad is 50! We had a party at Grandma and Grandpa's for his big day. David made his famous prime rib, and everyone else brought amazingly delicious food as well. His favorite gift was definitely the 20 pound bag of hot tamales from David and Sherelle. haha And surprisingly he was able to blow out all 50 candles with 1 breath! It turned out to be a pretty fun party, and Mom was definitely there celebrating with us. Hope you had a good one Dad!

We Ran a 5K...

Dr. Michael Tall (the dentist I work for), decided to have our office run a 5k at the Annual Spud Day. I had Todd and my cousins Lindsey and Wyatt come join along. Todd and I never trained for it, so I was very nervous that I would pass out along the way. ;) Well it turned out that we didn't do that terrible. Todd finished the race in 28 minutes and I finished it in 37 minutes. I am super proud of Todd for doing it in such a good time! And Wyatt actually ended up running the 10k in about 48 minutes! Lindsey could have probably finished the race way earlier then 37 minutes but she was kind enough to hang in the back with me. :) I am also proud of my staff crew who finished it as well. We had fun, well as much fun as you can have while running. haha Now we can say we have ran in a 5k! That is one thing we can check off of our "things we want to do" list!

Happy 46th Birthday to Mom

Tomorrow is my Mom's Birthday. It would have been her 46th birthday. She would never admit that she was "that old" but she is to young to not be here celebrating another birthday with us. I just wish I could make one phone call to heaven to wish her the best birthday ever. But sadly it does not work that way. Tomorrow will be a struggle for all of us, but I know we will get through it. I am so grateful for the times I did get to have with my Mom. She is such an inspiration to me and I look up to her in every way. I want to be just like her. There was not anything that my mom could not do. She truly was perfect. And I guess that is why Heavenly Father needed her so soon.
