Thus Far In 2015

For Todd's Birthday (back in November) I bought him tickets to a Jazz vs. Nets game. He has been a Brooklyn Net fan for years, so he was pretty excited. We have never had a night without Oliver, and have only gone on about 3 dates since he has been born! My mother-in-law offered to take him over the weekend, so we had 2 whole days with each other. It was heaven. But of course we missed Olly like crazy. The game was a blow out, the nets got their butts kicked. But Todd was happy to get some of his favorite players autographs.

In Idaho January's are usually freezing and drenched in snow... Well strangely it has been beautiful! And Oliver has been dying to play outside and see the "meows." So the other day we went out and jumped on the trampoline for his first time. The dude is a dare devil. So he LOVED it.

Todd has been coaching a 6th grade basketball team and Oliver is obsessed! Whenever we head to games or practice he has to hold the balls, and he is so proud. I can not keep this kid off the court, he wants to be right next to the boys. He will walk around saying "ball" the entire time. I think we have a little basketball player in the making...

Vote for O!

Of course I think Olly could be a Gerber Baby. ;) I'm a little biased. We would totally appreciate it if you went and voted for him!! His ID # is 172370.

Olly Boy Turns One

I can NOT believe this little guy is one already! That year flew by. He is getting THE biggest personality, ever. He's full of determination, attitude, laughter, dance moves, cuddles, and spunk. Our lives would be boring without him. He has filled places in our hearts that we never knew were empty. We love this squirt to pieces.

His 1 year announcements I made for family:

Aunt Sherelle took the CUTEST pictures of him. This is one of my favorites:

Lucky little guy had two parties, that means TWO chocolate cakes! One with the Hanson side and the other with the Christensen side. Of course he loved the cakes, he has a serious love for chocolate.

Oliver and cousin Brynlee are 5 days apart, so they ate cake together :)

// OCTOBER //

October went by way too fast. But we enjoyed every minute of it! We had never been to a pumpkin patch until this year. All 3 of us were first timers. :) And we learned pumpkins are ridiculously expensive. Haha. We had fun watching Oliver explore and stare at people.

Then we had the annual Halloween Party with the Hanson clan. Oliver was a Spartan Warrior, and won "The Most Original" prize. Yay! Like usual Todd came up with a funny costume last minute. Marc dressed as a baseball player, so Todd decided to be his trophy wife. We also had a yummy dinner at David and Sherelle's!  It was a fun time!

Since Oliver is almost one (sad!) Aunt Sherelle took his 1 year pictures before it got to cold outside. There are SO many we love, but here is a cute one that shows his wild personality. We love this little guy more then anything!

Lately...

Well Oliver is getting BIG! He just turned 5 months a few days ago. He has the biggest personality! Always smiling, laughs at dad most of the time, hates taking naps (it's always a battle), talks loudly, prefers attention 24/7, has a bit of an attitude (we're in trouble), he'll watch cartoons in the mornings while I get ready, and of course he has us wrapped around his little finger. Olly boy is such a blessing in our lives and we couldn't be happier.

As for Todd he is still going strong in school. He will be a senior after this semester! Yay!!! Then he'll apply for the Physical Therapy program. He also was coaching a 5th/6th grade basketball team. He was able to have 3 of our cousins on the team as well, so it made it that much better! Also he has been watching Olly while I work, so he has been a busy guy. We're SO proud of all his hard work in school and for everything else he does for us. I love him to the moon and back.

As for me, I recently started working full time. It's hard leaving my Oliver, but momma has to bring in the big bucks. ;) Haha! Plus I really love what I do, so it's not too shabby. Other then that nothing is new and exciting with me. I've been enjoying my little family more then ever, and am incredibly grateful for them!

Basically, life is good for us Hansons. :)
