Better Late Then Never

It was my handsome husbands birthday on the 30th! We went to Red Lobster in Pocatello with Todd's parents and his brother Marc and Marc's wife Des. Todd was in heaven, he loves his fish! I am so grateful to have him in my life, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Here is a photo collage of him throughout our years of marriage. :) He is a character if ya can't tell...

I swapped Marc and Todd's face with this picture! haha

On Instagram I challenged some of my family to do "their excited for Hawaii faces." haha So here are our faces!!! Only 11 more days!!!!!

Livin' It Up

Last night Shelby was in Miss Hillcrest, and she killed it! She got 1st runner up, and I couldn't be more proud of her. This girl is like my "little tall sister." Love her to pieces.

I had a pretty great birthday this year. I can't believe I am 23 years old! Todd spoiled me like always. And work was fun because they all spoiled me as well!
Sherelle brought me some homemade banana cream pie!
Harlee bought me a movie! ;)
The husband cooked a delicious dinner for me! Steak and cheesy potatoes are my fav!

28 years ago was the start of a pretty happy marriage. Today would have been their 28th anniversary. Makes me a little sad because they were talking about taking a trip within the next year or two with my Mom's best friend Trudy (my Dad's sister) and her husband Rick. I feel bad they didn't have the privilege to do it. But aren't these wedding photos hilarious/cute?!

Spud Harvest And Our Computer Room

Todd and I have been working on our little office for quit some time now. I wanted to make it a warm country feeling. Luckily that wasn't to hard because my Mom had old doors and window frames stocked up in the barn. We used one of the old doors as the desk, and bought a piece of glass to go on top. The amazing part was the piece of glass was only $45! I thought for sure it would be at least $100. Todd's only request was we hang some of his sport pictures in the room. He had them in boring black frames so I found a trick on pinterest on how to do crackle paint using elmers glue! I honestly was expecting them not to turn out and end up needing to buy new frames, but it worked like a charm! I have also been looking for a letter "H" but they are SO expensive. So I bought a cheap cardboard one and painted it, I love how it turned out. So here are a few pictures of the room so far! I still have a few little things I'd like to do still.

Kind of blurry...

Boring and cheap looking frame

Now crackled and cute, I mean "manly" ;)

$4 cardboard letter from Porters

Used lace and spray paint to make it pretty. And also spray painted the mason jars.

An old window frame that we turned into a pin board covered in fabric.

And of course I had to make Harlee a matching bed :)

Here are a few pictures from this years spud harvest. As always we had a good time!
